What does it take to be a really effective Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) trustee?
27/10/2026 – 10am – 11.30am Online
Becoming an EOT trustee is an important role. Trustees have a responsibility to act in the interests of the employees and help ensure that the business continues to deliver for them.
But what makes a good EOT trustee? What skills, behaviours and knowledge are needed – and how can trustees work effectively together?
This practical and interactive Skills Clinic will explore what makes an effective trustee and provide an opportunity to reflect on your own role.
Who is this for?
This Skills Clinic is aimed at existing EOT trustees, including employee trustees, senior management representatives and independent advisors who want to develop their understanding of the trustee role.
It is also suitable for trustees who are about to take on the role and want to build their confidence and effectiveness.
Why attend?
By the end of the session, you will have:
A clearer understanding of the trustee role • Greater confidence in your responsibilities • Practical ideas for effective governance • An opportunity to reflect on your own strengths and development
